Sad sight for first gen Neon enthusiasts. Crushed, melted down and then turned into Rebar.

This might be painful for you first gen Neon enthusiasts out there to read/see!

A friend of ours works at a steel mill and he snapped these photos.

In this photo we see two Neons, or at least a red rear bumper of one on bottom and one on the top.

These are photos of crushed cars going to the steel mill to then be shredded further, and then melted down in this furnace.

Then, they are ultimately turned into structural steel for construction!
