PT Big Brake upgrade for 95-05 Neons

Our employee Charles got rid of his stock axles/hubs/brakes/caliper on his 1998 Neon RT. This is an upgrade due to the larger caliper piston, bigger brake pad, and larger diameter rotor to dissipate heat better. In order to do this upgrade, you will need the 00-05 Neon manual transmission axles, or PT Cruiser manual axles (NON TURBO), you’ll need the PT Cruiser hub and bearing, PT Cruiser front brake lines, and lastly you’ll need to machine down the knuckle to fit with your Neon spindle, or you’ll need our BC coilovers with SRT4 lower collars.

Afterwards (with drilled and slotted rotors from Modern Performance)

Difference in size between PT Cruiser rotor and stock Neon. (PT cross drilled/slotted rotors available at Modern Performance!)

Charles got his original rotors off of the sunken Titanic in the Atlantic ocean.

PT Axle versus Neon axle. Fits perfectly, no modifications into the Neon transmission, and it has larger diameter, beefier design.

The PT larger diameter rotors fill out larger wheel openings better too.
