Our friend Alex has a 1998 Neon with 2.4 swap, 10.5:1 compression JE pistons, Crane 16’s, fresh rebuild and he spent some time on the dyno this morning.
He adjusted his cam gears and this is the dyno chart showing the difference.
Dyno run #1 was 2 degrees advanced on the intake and 1 degree retarded on the exhaust cam gears
Dyno run #3 was 1 degree advanced on the intake and 1 degree advanced on the exhaust cam gears
He’s making great naturally aspirated power, and he’s enjoying his cars performance!
