If your installing an AEM Air/Fuel mixture gauge into your car ? DO NOT CUT THE WIRING between oxygen sensor and gauge!
The wiring that connects between the oxygen sensor and the gauge is like a 20 foot line, which is much longer than most of us need in our Neons, Calibers, Cobalts, etc. So a few of our customers have cut the lines to shorten the extra length, and its caused a lot of problems.
The one thing you have to RESIST, is cutting the line to reduce the extra cabling not needed. Once you do this, it changes the voltage between the oxygen sensor and the gauge and it will display 14.8 on the screen.
So, again, do not cut the line between the sensor and gauge !
