Our prototype downpipe for 2013+ Ford Focus ST is done. Gained good power!

Our production of goodies for the 2013+ Ford Focus ST is moving along well. We have a nice catalog of parts already all in stock, and we have prototyped our own intake, downpipe and now a 3 inch catback exhaust.

Here is some information on our downpipe for the MPx downpipe soon to come out.

We already have:

Cobb tune

Injen intake

MPx prototype intercooler

MPx 3 inch exhaust

Now, here is a photo showing the difference between our NO cat MPx downpipe and the factory downpipe:

Now, here is a dyno chart showing the difference between our mods with stock downpipe and our mods with MPx catted downpipe.

We gained a peak of 12 hp! We lost a little bit of power on bottom end, but we already had a massive bottom end so we’ll happily trade a few hp for 12 hp on top end!

Here is a dyno chart showing our power now with all mods vs stock.

What is incredible, is how we have shifted our entire power band up vertically.

Before we had 200 wheel hp at 4000 rpm, now 3500 rpm.

Before we had 230 wheel hp at 5000 rpm, now 4000 rpm, or a solid 1000 rpm lower.

Now, remember this is our prototype and we are making some final revisions.

We’ll have these ready for sale by summer 2014, hopefully sooner!
