Introducing one of the best tunes available for the 2007-2010 Chevrolet HHR SS Turbo. This tune is essentially the same tune that is used in the Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo.
The Trifecta tune will give you a solid 40 horsepower and nearly 75 lbs of torque within minutes.
Plus, you can keep your factory tune and activate the Trifecta tune with either the cruise control button on your steering wheel, or the traction button. This way you can have the gas sipping, 15 psi factory tune when other people drive your car, and you can activate the Trifecta tune and get 20-23 psi when you want more power!
The Trifecta tune is installed easily with your laptop computer and a pc update cable. We’ll email you a tune thats custom made for your specific mods, along with a update cable. You can then upload the tune to your pcm and keep the cable for future updates, or you can return the cable to us.
The pcm flash is priced at $299 and the update cable system is $200. The update cable system if returned to Modern Performance, will be refunded back to you in full and you’ll only pay $299 for the flash thats emailed to you.
Pictured below, is a dyno chart of our 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo (The HHR SS gains power just like the Cobalt since it has the exact same motor and turbo!). With intake, downpipe and exhaust our car had 263 wheel horsepower (stock is about 235-240 wheel horsepower) and 263 torque. Boost pressure is about 15 psi.
Now, when we activate the Trifecta tune, our boost is instantly turned up to 20-23 psi (depending on temperature, and which gear your in) and we had 293 wheel horsepower and 329 lbs of torque at the wheels. The car is a BEAST with the Trifecta tune engaged!
