From Jan 5th – January 21st, Cory and David from Modern Performance went to Japan to see the Tokyo auto salon, to visit with some auto part manufacturers, tour Mazda and Toyotas assembly lines, visit some auto museums and to go to drift school.

The #1 most popular car in the show, hands down, was the skyline. R33/R34 and R35’s.
This Skyline had reinforced stitch welding every inch to reinforce the chassis. This must have been a LOT of work.
More Skyline engine shots. This was one of the rare single turbo models, most Japanese tuners leave the factory twin turbos in place.
Have space constraints in your Skyline ? Put the radiator in the TRUNK !
