Modern Performance
We had a spectacular meet this last saturday 7-24-10 at Modern Performance.
Over 90 cars showed up and we packed everyone into two seperate parking lots, in our side and back alleys!
We had two models/dj’s from the New Orleans Hornets show up and play music, and we had Mr Ed Peters, a retired Chrysler engineer give a tech talk about transmissions and transmission fluids, clutches.
It was a GREAT time with lots of 95-99 Neons, 00-05 Neons, 03-05 SRT4’s, 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalts and 2008-2010 Dodge Caliber SRT4’s showing up.
We have so many pictures of the meet, that we will have to split the photos up into 2 seperate pages to show you everything.
The meet started at Noon, this is about 9:30 am, and we getting everything ready. At this point, only MP employees, and close friends of MP are parked already.
This is David B’s 2003 SRT-4 with Fiber Images F1 hood, 18 inch Volk Racing TE37 wheels (recently refinished). The red car is Paco’s immaculate SRT-4. The black one in the distance is Clarence’s SRT4.
Our 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo project car, and Charles’s dads GT Cruiser turbo.
These are all Modern Performance employee cars. From left to right, Charles’s 1999 Neon RT Coupe, Kyles 98 RT Coupe, Johns 98 Sport coupe and Matts 1998 Neon EX (Canadian market, non AC car!)
Matts freshly repainted car. Looks GREAT !
We just installed the new stealth black headlights and niteshaded the front turn signal lenses. BC Coilovers and Roja wheels.
Kyles 2.4 swapped RT coupe.
This car is BONE stock except being lowered on BC coilovers.
More cars started showing up at this point.
Eric Davis’s white SRT-4 and more Neon SRT-4’s
The parking lot started to fill up really fast around 1230-1pm.
We then had to start parking people in the ADJACENT lot next to us !
Alex and Chris’s yellow Vipers showed up!
Onto the second lot !
