Modern Performance has the answer! We took one of the best lighting kits on the market from PIAA, designed custom mounting brackets to install it on the 03-05 Dodge SRT-4 and the results are amazing. We offer the MPx/PIAA light kit in two different varieties, FOG light output (yellow light wide beam) and a DRIVING light kit (long distance narrow beam light output).This listing is for the FOG light kit.
SERIOUS LIGHT OUTPUT
This kit was made, because we wanted a driving light kit that would put out some SERIOUS light. So we took an off the shelf PIAA light kit, we did a lot of test fitting, and we developed a custom bracket set that would allow you to mount the fog lights directly to the frame of your car with 1/5th inch thick aluminum brackets, making for a very solid installation.
TURN ON AND OFF THE LIGHTS WITH YOUR FACTORY HEADLIGHT STALK OR USE THE PIAA LIGHT SWITCH TO TURN THEM ON AND OFF WHENEVER YOU WANT!
There are two ways to wire these up, and both are fairly easy to do.
You can wire these up so that whenever you turn your factory headlight switch on the fog lights will come on, and they’ll turn off whenever you turn off your headlights.
The SECOND way to wire them up, is so that you can turn on and off the fog lights whenever you want with the supplied switch. Both ways of installation are described in the installation guide.
STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION
This kit comes with a photo installation guide written by Modern Performance. Its a simple three wire installation, and can be typically installed in about an hour and half with basic hand tools and a drill. You do NOT need to modify your bumper, or your fog light holes to install these.
QUALITY
Because we use a PIAA light kit, its a proven, quality kit, and there are replacement parts available. If you should ever need replacement housings, lenses, etc they are available !
