Check out this 1940’s era video from GM on how Differentials work..

I came across a really cool black and white video made by GM in the 1950’s about how differentials work.

Its made in black and white, and is simple enough in demonstrating how a differential works that anyone can understand it !

NOTE: this video is 9:00 minutes long so be patient, and the first 2:00 minutes or so is showing some motorcycle choreography stunts which leads into the differential explanation.
