Who’s seen this before? Timing belt walked, sliced through engine cover and almost through fuel line on a Dodge Stratus 2.4 engine!

Now, the reason why..

The bolt that holds the idler bearing in place went through the plastic cover and into the water pump. Then, the ear of the water pump broke, the idler bearing went limp and made the belt walk towards the rear or driver side of the motor.

Crazy right!?
