AEM has sold its Air Intake business to K&N..

This is slightly older news.. About 5-6 weeks ago, AEM sold its air intake division to K&N.

K&N would keep the AEM name, but then it would continue to produce the intakes, and package them as AEM intakes. They would also continue the development of intakes, and continue to produce them with AEM’s name.

This really hasnt created problems, and its been pretty seamless until recently. A lot of intakes however, especially Polished color intakes are being delayed in production.

All of us here at MP were quite suprised to hear of this news, because we always felt that AEM’s intake line of products were their bloodline. Evidently we were wrong, as AEM made a choice to make its electronics lines, and gauges their true core business now.
