Its taken a little over a year, but we finally have a clutch we can offer for the Dodge Caliber SRT-4!
We’ve spent a lot of time testing out steel flywheels, aluminum flywheels, and different pressure plates before we found one that we liked.
What we have now, is an aluminum flywheel modular clutch assembly that replaces the dual mass factory flywheel. The weight savings was substantial, because the factory clutch with dual mass flywheel weighs in at 38 lbs, and the Clutchmasters clutch weighs in at 26 lbs. The 12 lb weight savings helps to make the Caliber SRT4 motor more responsive, and it makes the car feel great!
Furthermore, installation of this clutch/flywheel unit replaces the dual mass flywheel which has been known to fail with hard driving, and high horsepower.
