Pictures of MPx Steering column pod being cut on the CNC machine!

As promised, here are photos of our MPx Steering column pods being cut on the CNC machine.

They first start out as solid aluminum circular rod.

Then the center is bored out, edge of the pod is chamfered. The rod is spun while a robotic cutting tool cuts away the aluminum. This is all done by computer program and followed by the robotic cutting tool precisely.

We’ll post up more pictures as these progress!
