We offer Calico Coatings on our pistons, main bearings and rod bearings that we sell. Calico applies a thin coating that reduces the friction between surfaces, therefore reducing the drag on the motor.

In this photo we are showing a set of pistons with skirt coatings, along with main and rod bearings. These three parts are the main friction areas in your motor. This particular set of pistons are our custom 10.5:1 compression pistons for 2.4 normally aspirated motors. The motor thats being built for this customer is for a 1995-1999 Dodge/Plymouth Neon 2.4 motor swap.
